Meet the Founders

Summer and Kaeli are twin sisters who have spent over 10 years working with hair extensions. While working in different salons and using many brands, they kept running into the same issues—poor quality, inconsistent color and texture, and high prices for hair that didn’t last long.

Frustrated, they decided to learn more about how hair extensions are made, including how they’re sourced and colored, and what makes them look natural and last longer. After a lot of research and testing many different options, they chose to create their own brand.

Their goal was to solve the common problems stylists face. After trying hundreds of wefts, they developed a product that combines ethical sourcing, consistent quality, long-lasting color, and easy installation—now known as Maison Luxe.
